I just released my story “Clear Skies in Pixieland”, originally published earlier this year in the first issue of\u00c2\u00a0Nine<\/em>, as a Kindle e-book<\/a> for $1.29.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve been charging 99 cents for the other individual short stories, but this one’s longer.\u00c2\u00a0 I noticed that someone already bought a copy, even though it’s been up less than a week–thank you, whoever you are!<\/p>\n

Here’s a description, lifted from the Amazon page (I wrote it myself, so I’m allowed to do that):<\/p>\n

It didn’t take Chris long to learn the dark side of his summer job: trapping pixies, fairies and other small creatures in a magical forest for sale to\u00c2\u00a0wealthy collectors.\u00c2\u00a0 He’d have quit if he didn’t need the money.\u00c2\u00a0 Now, after a disastrous expedition, only Chris can rescue the man who hired him.\u00c2\u00a0 But does his boss deserve to be rescued?\u00c2\u00a0 And how can Chris ever pay the terrible price the pixies have demanded?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
